About Islamlar Village

Kalkan Islamlar Village is a charming place to enjoy your holiday with its unique and unspoiled nature in Turkey. Village is only a 15-minute drive away from Kalkan and the fabulous beaches. Kaputas and Patara are just a few minutes more. To explore Lycian Ways, Taurus Mountains and archeological Lycia habitats, you just need to rent a car.

How to get there

Dalaman and Antalya are the two nearest airports. Dalaman is a one hour forty-five minute drive away. The drive from Antalya airport takes about three and a half hours.
A car is essential for anyone staying at the villa and car hire can be arranged.

A few years ago, you could just visit the village, look at a amazing view of nature, mountain and sea combination and eat fresh and traditional foods. Gradually, however, Lastly, some cottages and villas have become available for guests who want to stay and have a great holiday.

Islamlar offers a way to see and understand the life style before centuries. There still is a old tea-house, an old village square with small bakery, a barber, herd of sheeps and goats with their shepherds, grape vines and olive trees.

The village’s altitude around 800mt from sea and it has a very cool spring water. These factors provide a 5-6 degrees cool atmoshpere from Kalkan. Kalkan area is very hot, especially in July and August, so everyone who knows Islamlar come for lunch or dinner to take a break in a sunny day.

This restaurants provide all kind of traditional mezes and foods and also breakfast of Turkey… Or you can choose Kalkan for dining. If you want to go Kalkan and not drive, you can call for a taxi one way or both. There are really good restaurants and delicious meals for you.

Beaches & Beach Clubs

Here are lots of places to swim in this area. You can choose different beaches or beach clubs everyday for swimming. The pebble beach in Kalkan”s center, unspoiled and picturestique Kaputas Beach, Patara Beach are some of opportunities for swimming and sunbathing. It is amazing to swim at the beach clubs of Kalkan, with access steps leading directly from the rocks into the turqoise waters of the bay, some parts of which are freshened by several natural underground springs. Most of the clubs also provide water sports.

Patara Beach – the longest beach in the Mediterranean Patara lies at the foot of the valley beneath and is accessible by car in just 25-minutes. Patara is a stunning and undeveloped 18-kilometre stretch of soft golden sand, where the evocative ruins of a once-fine city protrude from the sand dunes. Patara is so outstanding that it’s regularly featured as one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful and undiscovered beaches. Kaputaş Beach The dramatic Kaputaş beach is a ten-minute dolmuş or taxi ride from Kalkan. It is a beautiful sandy beach found at the foot of a ravine down many, many steps!
